Product Description Vacuum freeze-drying is one of the most gentle drying methods available. It relies on the principle of sublimation — the direct transition of a solid phase into a gas phase. The material to be dried is placed inside a vacuum drying chamber, where the water vapor produced is condensed by a cold trap to form ice, thereby eliminating water vapor from the system. A vacuum pump is used to evacuate the air from the drying chamber, excluding the water vapor. The
